Due to recently awarded tenders a specialist civil engineering contractor are seeking to recruit an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work on a major civils / infrastructure in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

· Working alongside a Senior/Managing QS

· Overseeing cost control and commercial management for a major project

· Reporting to and collaborating with Senior Commercial staff

· Prepare monthly project commercial reports.

· Managing and mentoring a Quantity Surveyor

· Ensuring accurate cost forecasting and budget management

· Handling contract administration, particularly NEC

· Maintaining effective communication with contractors and stakeholders

Requirements:

· Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying (BSc/HNC or similar)

· 1 - 3 years experience in quantity surveying on a civil engineering project within infrastructure, highways, structures, rail

· Proficiency in cost control and contract management

· Experience with NEC 3 contracts

· Ability to work effectively in project teams within

· Excellent communication and analytical skills
