Monday- Friday 7am-4pm
You will be responsible for coordinating the repair of defects and service vehicles. This role is very hands on.
The Role
- Maintenance and repair of vehicle chassis and cab to meet current legislation Health and Safety and VOSA requirements both in the workshop and on the roadside
- Maintenance and repair of waste handling equipment, including electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Carry out scheduled service and inspections to meet company Operators licence commitments
- Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards
- Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based
- To carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks.
- Assist the foreman with H&S issues to maintain OHSAS18001 standard already achieved, including reviewing risk assessments, COSHH, compliance database etc, along with the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
- To work and liaise with the other tenants of the workshop to ensure best practice is adhered to

- Quarterly bonus scheme – up to 2,500 per annum based on KPI's around meeting SLA's, MOT passes etc – realistically achievable

You
- Previous experience in a similar LGV, HGV related maintenance role
- Computer literate – able to undertake the compliance and job card related admin
- Good all round MS Office skills
- Able to work autonomously
- licence, H&S, VOSA, OHSAS18001, COSHH understanding
