Health and Safety Manager (RC Frame)

Our client is one of the UK's leading reinforced concrete frame specialists, with over 30 years of experience the company have developed an extensive project portfolio including some of the most prestigious schemes in London.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You would be joining a strong and dynamic Health & Safety team within a company that strongly encourages professional and personal development & offer on-the-job training.

Role & Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with acts and regulations, i.e. CDM, HASAWA, LOLER, PUWER etc
Planning and monitoring lifting operations
Preparing for upcoming risks and plan opportunities
Facilitating Risk Reviews
Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental inspections
Developing monthly, quarterly and annual H&S reports
Engaging the workforce on Health, Safety and Wellbeing matters
Liaising with Training manager & project team to implement training strategies
Attending H&S expos and reporting on opportunities
Implementing innovation with the project teams
Engaging in safety action groups
Working with client counterparts to improve standards on site
Assessing and carrying out skills and behavioural training
Carrying out Internal H&S audits
Support with external ISO audits
Maintaining Continuous Professional Development

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager who has a robust knowledge of contracting and can demonstrate significant successes and a record of achievement in the implementation, execution and development of HSE policy and procedures and the safe delivery of site operations. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience with a groundworks and reinforced concrete frame sub-contractor and have HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH & IOSH.
