-              Salary: £28,000-£34,000 DOE  

-              06:30 – 14:30 (Mon – Thurs), 6:30 – 14:00 (Fri)

Overview

Working for a well-established manufacturing business with sites across the globe, we are now looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join the business.

The role will be focused on ensuring the production facility and it’s staff work in a safe manner, maintaining a high standard in first class manufacturing facilities.

Overview of responsibilities of the Health & Safety Advisor role include:

• 
  

  PPE/First aid supply/control (Inc. stock/ PPE) & monthly checks.

• 
  

  To maintain HSE spreadsheets.

• 
  

  To support/ensure legal compliance and reporting of required metrics.

• 
  

  Permits to work issue & control.

• 
  

  Order skips as required & control of waste documentation.

• 
  

  Organize/deliver training & control of records.

• 
  

  Monthly update TM Boards information.

• 
  

  Participate in monthly site H, S & E audits.

• 
  

  Assisting with company set HSE Targets.

• 
  

  Conduct & document risk assessments.

• 
  

  Assist with site data collection

• 
  

  Maintain and update HSE data management system

• 
  

  Attend HSE meetings as and when required and complete actions that are assigned.

• 
  

  Work with external suppliers, processing purchase orders and resolving invoice queries.

• 
  

  To provide generic office administration support for the HSE department.

• 
  

  Support customer to ensure prompt response to HSE issues.

The ideal Health & Safety Advisor will have as many of the below in order to strengthen application:

• 
  

  IOSH managing safety or equivalent

• 
  

  Foundation certificate in environmental management or equivalent

• 
  

  Train the Trainer Certificate

• 
  

  Rigging License/competent person inspection qualification

• 
  

  Highly computer literate in a range of Microsoft packages

• 
  

  Nebosh H&S Qualification or equivalent

• 
  

  Possess a First Aid Qualification

• 
  

  Trained in behavioral safety

• 
  

  Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment

Commutable from: Ashby De La Zouch, Coalville, Leicester, Castle Donington, Loughborough and surrounding areas.
