Nicholas Associates are recruiting for an experienced groundworks Supervisor to work with a reputable civil engineering contractor based in the Derbyshire area. successful applicants must have a proven track record in supervision on residential groundworks, section 278 works, roads and sewer projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervision of site on a day to day basis and liaising with Site Manager/Project Manager
Management of trades & labour on site
Attending site meetings
Ensuring build programmes & schedules are met
Insuring all health & safety is carried out to a high level

Requirements:

SMSTS /SSSTS / First Aid
Previous experience as a Groundworks Supervisor
Experience of working on residential groundworks, plots, section 278 works, roads and sewer schemes
Understand constructions methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
Demonstrate Strong communication skills
IT skills
Valid UK Driving Licence
