Graduate Bid Writer

 

Location: Sheffield

 

Salary: Up to £35,000 dependent on experience

 

Responsibilities:

 



  • Bid Preparation: collaborate with technical and sales teams to gather information and develop technically accurate and compelling bid proposals.


  • Develop a deep understanding of products and services to effectively communicate their technical features and benefits in bid submissions.


  • Write and edit content for bid documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with proposal requirements.


  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all aspects of the bid, including technical, commercial, and legal elements, are addressed and incorporated into the proposal.


  • Manage bid submission process, ensuring proposals are submitted accurately and on time.


  • Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks on bid documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements.


  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices for bid writing and contribute to the continuous improvement of bid processes and templates.


  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to address technical queries and provide additional information as needed.


 

 

 

About you:

 



  • Bachelor's degree


  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.


  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.


  • Familiarity with bid management processes and tools.


  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.


  • Excellent written communication skills; strong command of the English language.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
