Position : Global Key Account Manager
Location : South Yorkshire with some home working. Preference to people living within 1 hour commute of Sheffield
Salary : 40,000-50,000 - target is 45,000
Benefits : Car allowance 6,000, Bonus likely to be 20,000
The Role :Managing 4 blue chip key clients with an annual spend of c 4 million. Your role will be to know those clients inside out so that when they are in the market to purchase a product, you are the first person that they think of. The clients operate in virtually every country in the world, and so you will be expected to forge solid business relationships with very many different people in the client's organisation.
You must be prepared to travel internationally on a frequent basis (when possible) and must also be prepared to have a degree of flexibility with regards to working hours to enable you to interact with clients in all time zones of the world by phone / Zoom / MS Teams etc
About You : - Ideally degree qualified in either a business or an engineering function
- First class relationship building skills
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Other language abilities are beneficial
- Experience of managing clients internationally within an engineering environment is essential
- Experience of new equipment sales and of the spares / repairs market is preferred
- Experience of sales and marketing strategies
- Excellent negotiations skills and a high degree of commercial awareness
- Experience of tendering
- An understanding of electrical machinery is extremely beneficial
- Proficient with CRM systems
