Position : Field Service Engineer / Installation and Commissioning Engineer
Skills : Mechancial, electrical and controls
Salary : 30,000-40,000 basic salary plus benefits
Location : Based Sheffield woth work throuhgout the UK and abroad. You MUST be flexible to travel to wherever the work is and for regular nights away ; in the case of breakdown or faults, this can be at short notice

Examples of Projects and Scope of Works

• LV process plant
• Process instrumentation installation and calibration
• Mechanical understanding
• PLC and control systems
• Electrcially controlled pneumatic equipment

Must be conversant with

• P&IDs
• electrical single line diagrams
• PLC logic flow diagrams
• process equipment datasheets

Duties :

• Installation
• Commissioning
• Service
• Repar and maintenance

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

Experience working with PLC control systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and high-pressure gas systems
Configuration, calibration and fault finding of process instrumentation.
LV panel or field wiring fault finding from schematics.
LV panel test and inspection
Reactive and PPM on electrical systems
Proven experience as field service engineer or similar role
Mechanical / Electrical HNC/HND or higher qualification
Experience of performing preventive maintenance and equipment diagnosis and repairs in the process industries
Health and Safety conscious
Experience in the use of risk assessments and method statements to support safe working
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility and Versatility and a willingness to travel for periods of up to 1 month at a time.
Excellent communication skills at all level
