We are looking for an Executive Assistant to the Group Principal & CEO for a well known Educational establishment based over the Kent and SE London areas.

Job Description:-

  • Manage, co-ordinate and forward plan the Group Principal & CEO, travel arrangements, work schedule, diary and correspondence including filtering incoming calls/emails/mail, responding to and referring on to other managers where appropriate.
  • Draft and edit reports, letters and papers as required to a very high standard. Carry out research to supplement reports with additional information so they are of the highest standard and take necessary actions to ensure deadlines for responses from/to the Group Principal & CEO are met.
  • To deal with highly sensitive information in a strictly confidential and professional manner, monitoring progress to follow-up action to ensure all items are dealt with and completed satisfactorily.
  • Undertake project work as required by the Group Principal & CEO including undertaking background research and presenting findings.
  • Arrange internal and external meetings, prepare papers and draft minutes as required, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for the events which are chaired or hosted by the Group Principal & CEO.
  • Follow up on actions agreed in the meetings attended by the Group Executives including prioritising and researching matters and conveying action points as applicable to other staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records and files and all other relevant data supporting the Group Principal & CEO Office.
  • Assist with the management of team priorities, ensuring effective communications, assisting with workshops, roundtables, and other events as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development of ongoing relationships with partners, collaborators and key stakeholders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
  • Work with the Group Executive Administration Team to support the preparation of Governance Papers and reports.
  • To take direction from the Group Executive Director Governance & Administration on supporting the clerking of the London South East Education Trust Local Governing Body Meetings and any other Governance related activity that requires administrative support.
  • To work flexibly to meet agreed deadlines and targets, as and when required.
  • To assist at enrolment/promotional events/induction/open evenings as required (which will entail occasional event attendance for which time off in lieu will be agreed).

Job Requirements:-

  • Substantial working background in a senior administrative or PA position.
  • Leading and managing projects.
  • Extensive diary management experience including travel arrangements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to understand student, finance and HR systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organisational skills and time management.
  • Excellent IT skills including Office 365 applications e.g Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Ability to operate with absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.

Hours:-

8.00am to 5.30pm (Some flexibility will be required.)

Salary:-

31500 to 35000 per Year DOE
