Estimator required – Aerospace.

Due to rapid expansion and increase in business we now require an Estimator to join the business. With large orders and sustained growth we require an Estimator to join the team in this prestigious aerospace and precision engineering business.

The company are looking for a driven individual who wants to work within a fast paced, busy environment and who has the desire and skills to bring new ideas to the company. Working with the latest technology and equipment for this prestigious aerospace company, you will be part of the office team working in a clean modern open planned work space.

Hours: 39hr working week

Monday-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm and Fri 7:30-12:30

Salary: 30,000-40,000 Negotiable, dependent on experience

Background required: Must have previous estimating experience within manufacturing – ideally within an aerospace/machining and precision engineering environment OR similar.

The work environment:

This is a fast paced machining environment, working to high tolerances. You will be working with first class manufacturing facilities and practices in a well organised structured working environment.

Progression/Training:

The company offer off site training courses to enable there staff to expand their knowledge and look to progress from within.

The role:
Provide technical estimates to customers

Liaising across various internal departments

Account manage customers

Deliver excellent customer service

Help coordinate the sales process

The Estimator will have as many of the below in order to strengthen application:

• Previous estimating experience within manufacturing – ideally within an aerospace/machining and precision engineering environment OR similar.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• An engineering background and education – Apprentice trained/HNC/HND/Degree educated of similar
• Strong computer skills
• Confident at dealing with high end companies across the world.
