We are actively recruiting for an Electroplating Technologist with a strong Chemistry or Electrochemistry background to join a growing technology based Company . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced specialist to be at the forefront of providing advanced materials into the Aerospace, Defence and Oil& Gas industries.

The role will focus on the development and improvement of the pre treatment processes which include metal parts cleaning , etching ,metal plating and stripping metal coatings

Troubleshooting

Develop and implement improvements and failure preventative measures

Chemical analysis

Technical reports

Technical support

The person

Educated to degree level in Chemistry or Electrochemistry

Metal plating experience

Good understanding of metal plating processes such as electrolytic and electroless nickel or copper

Experience of chemical analysis , use of XRF
