Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Building Services

Location: Enfield, North London

Salary: £40K

Hours of work: 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer, to join a prestigious client based in Enfield.

The Role

You will be responsible for both PPM and reactive Maintenance tasks and undertake the necessary maintenance duties to support the operational effectiveness of the technical services team.

You will:

  • Carry out various Maintenance related reactive and PPM tasks across site
  • Communicate with, induct and supervise sub-contracts on-site when needed
  • Place orders for parts and stock
  • Carry out various electrical installations
  • Support the Operations department for specific projects
  • Perform fault finding and repairs on electrical assets
  • Reduce contractor costs by increasing the amount of in-house electrical jobs
  • Ensure work is undertaken in compliance with relevant H&S regulations and procedures
  • Liaise with helpdesk and other subcontractors to deliver maintenance across the company estate to a suitable standard, in accordance with the maintenance schedules

Skills & Experience

You will have:

  • A completed recognised electrical qualification, such as C&G Level 3
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Inspection and Testing qualification is desirable
  • Experience in a maintenance environment
  • Knowledge and experience in BMS
  • IT literate
  • Customer service skills
  • Full driving license
