Overview:

Nicholas Associates Engineering are now recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a FMCG Manufacturing Environment. My client has manufacturing sites located across the globe, and we now require an additional Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team. You will be working within first class, clean, warm and modern facilities, and can offer a stable friendly relaxed work environment, with a strong budget for maintenance and training.

The basics:

• Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Location: Alfreton based facility
• Industry: FMCG, Manufacturing Environment
• Pay: 33,150 + quarterly bonus at 5% of base salary + profit share scheme = 35,000 approx.
• Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm and 2pm-10pm rotating weekly – 39.5hr week
• Benefits: Up to 10% pension matched, Life and critical health cover, 33 days holiday.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

• Experience working with/knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems.
• Competent reading control circuit/schematic diagrams
• Competent working with AC/DC drives
• Competent working with Motors
• Time served electrically bias apprenticeship
• 17th edition electrically qualified
• PLC experience for Fault Finding beneficial
• Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
