Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Working within a production focused environment on light to heavy engineering machinery including robotics.

With manufacturing facilities located UK and Europe we now require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established maintenance team.

The role will involve a variation of work – including Planned and Reactive maintenance, projects, installations.

The basics:

• Salary: 45,538.72 + overtime = earnings of 50,000 and upwards achievable
• Hours: 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00
• Shift Pattern: Rotating x28 day cycle;
• x4 Nights, x3 Off, x3 Days, x1 Off, x3 Nights, x3 Off, x4 Days, x7 Off
• Overtime rates: Double Pay for shift cover
• Holidays 26 Days per year
• Benefits: pension with a generous company contribution which increases on level of service. Additional days holiday accrued with service time. Death in service benefit.

Skills required:

• A strong background within an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing/industrial environment or similar

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• To maintain service and repair all plant machinery to minimise production down time.

The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

• Competent reading control circuit/schematic diagrams
• Knowledge/experience with Proximity switches
• Knowledge/experience with DC/AC Drives
• Knowledge/experience with Working with sensors
• Knowledge/experience with Control systems
• Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems
• A mechanical understanding would be advantageous – gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics
• Knowledge of PLC's advantageous
• Electrically qualified – Must be able to present these at interview

The company offer specific machinery training.
