Nicholas Associates Group is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for an Electrical Design Engineer, to join committed and multi-disciplined team of engineers based in their purpose-built and modern factory on the outskirts of Sheffield.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Work as one of the primary Electrical Design Engineer's within the business, responsible for the design development and support of special bespoke products.

KEY DUTIES

• Create electrical detailed designs of systems and sub-systems from defined client specification, this will include designing control panels (including layouts), schematics, and creation of associated documentation including BOM's, manufacturing drawings etc.
• To support the manufacturing process, resolving and clarifying electrical and wiring issues in products

SKILLS & EXPIRENCE

• Qualified to at least HNC level in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Mechatronics etc.
• Able to read engineering drawings (including wiring diagrams and P & ID's).
• Experience with embedded software programming / firmware / plc programming is advantageous.
• Valid passport holder and clean driving licence required for occasional travel.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• 33,000-36,000 based on experience
• Generous Overtime Rates

• Mon-Thurs (8am – 4:45) & Fri (8am – 12:30pm)
