New role for a Continuous Improvement Manager ( C.I Manager ) to join a small manufacturing Company with exciting plans for the future

This is a newly created role and therefore you will have the opportunity to use all yor skills to impact on the business . It is imperative you have more than just theoretical lean knowledge . Practical , hands on experience will be key

You will be involved in introducing modern manufacturing practices and whilst they're not an automotive business , it may be beneficial to understand automotive lean tools

The role

Identify opportunities to improve throughput , manufacturing efficiency and quality performance

Support manufacturing areas ( layout , Kaizen , Kanban etc ) to ensure OEE targets are met

Implement continuous improvement throughout the business using Lean and Six Sigma principles

Liaise with internal contacts and external suppliers to improve manufacturing operations

Provide management information in report format as requested

The Candidate

Lean and/or Six Sigma ( Yellow or Green Belt )experience of process improvements in a business that is ideally small batch , multi component assembly

Knowledge of systems / processes that ensure decisions are data driven

Exposure to Value Stream Mapping , Problem Solving Techniques , 5S , Waste Elimination , OEE , Standardisation , Kaizen etc

Strong influencing skills

Positive can do attitude

Drive , strong leader
