The basics:

Job title: CNC Turner

Industry: Precision engineering

Pay: up to £34000 per annum + shift allowance of £20.60 per full shift worked. Approx £38284 per annum + OT = earnings of £38k and upwards achievable.

Hours: 36.5hrs - Mondays 3pm to 1am and Tuesday to Thursday 3pm to 12:30am.

Overtime: paid at 1.5 Mon-Sat and Double on Sundays

Holidays and Benefits: Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary, Pension 5% and 3% by employer, Holidays are 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service.

Location: Ilkeston

The ideal candidate / CNC Turner may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship
  • Must have previous CNC Turning experience
  • Be able to program/edit online at the machine
  • Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial

Overview:

We now require a CNC Turning to join the machining section. You will be working in first class, modern manufacturing facilities producing precision engineered components for globally names within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry.

Commutable from: Derby, Burton upon Trent, Nottingham, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
