CNC Turner ( Week day Shift )

Position: CNC Turner

Tenure: Permanent

Shifts: Weekday shift available

Salary: To be discussed at application stage

Location: Rotherham

Nicholas Associates (Engineering & Technical) are working with a global manufacturing organisation that delivers high precision machined parts for a CNC Turner in Rotherham.

To apply for this role you will ideally need to have experience of small batched work.

Key Duties of a CNC Turner:

  • Able to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised working environment to fulfil the company promise of exceptional customer service
  • Experience of verifying and editing CAM programmes in order to ensure components are manufactured to the efficiency standards
  • Strictly adhere to safe working practices and highlight any potential hazords

Experience required:

  • Previous experience of working in an engineering environment
  • Previous experience of setting and operating CNC lathes
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and experience of using meauring equipment
  • NVQ Level 2 ( or equivalent ) or above in engineering / manufacturing
  • Effective communicator
  • Desire to povide exceptional customer service

Salary & Benefits

  • 10-12ph
  • Up to 30% shift allowance
