• 3 Shifts (06:00-14:00, 14:00 – 22:00, 22:00 – 06:00)
• 32,500 – Inclusive of Shift Allowance

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for a Production Manager to join a global manufacturing organisation supplying a range of niche metal products (Tier 1 & Tier 2 – Product dependant) to the automotive sector. The role of CNC Team Leader will be based out of my clients newly-opened premises based in the Caerphilly County Borough area.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand new team, working on this exciting greenfield project that is set to bring over 250 + jobs to the local area!

Summary:

Reporting to the CNC Production Manager the CNC Team Leader will be responsible for a team of 5 machinist on a shift.

Key Duties:

• Supervise and oversee a team of CNC machinists.
• Programme, set and operate a range of brand new 3 and 4 axis milling machines
• Tool changes.
• Ensuring all health and safety aspects are strictly adhered to and maintained.

Experience Required:

CNC Team Leader will have demonstrable experience as a CNC Miller/Setter/Programmer/Operator, as well as experience as a supervisor/team leader, and have a good knowledge and experience of Fanuc controls.

Previous supervisory experience is not required.
