The Basics:

Role: CNC Press Brake Operator (Setter/Operator)

Position: Permanent

Location: Nottingham - near Beeston

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

Contracted hours per week: 40hrs

Pay rates are dependent on experience:

Up to £16 per hour - £33,280 per annum + Overtime = earnings of £40k and upwards achievable

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, company pension, onsite parking, training and career development.

Overview:

Working in modern, fast paced sheet metal precision fabrication business we now require a CNC Press Brake Operator to join the team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently set and operate CNC press brakes, interpret engineering drawings and produce high-quality folded components to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate / CNC Press Brake Operator may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Experience with Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf or similar press brake machinery
  • Experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
  • Confident carrying out bending operations on a range of materials and thicknesses.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Experience selecting tooling and programming or adjusting machine settings.
  • Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances.
  • Good understanding of fabrication processes.

Nottingham, Long Eaton, Beeston and surrounding areas.
