The Basics:

Role: CNC Miller

Position: Permanent

Location: near Derby

Hours: 06.00 - 14.30 Monday to Thursday and 06.00 - 10.30 on Fridays.

Contracted hours per week: 36.5hrs

Pay rates:

Level 1: £19.51, Level 2: £20.57, Level 3: £22.06, Level 4: £22.85

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Holidays/Benefits: Production bonus, Death in Service Benefit 2x annual salary, Pension scheme, 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year increasing with service.

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require CNC Miller to join the early shift.

The ideal candidate / CNC Miller may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship
  • Previous CNC Milling experience - programming from drawings online at the machine beneficial.
  • Be able to program/edit online at the machine - Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Siemens, Fanuc controls all considered.
  • Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings

Commutable from: Derby, Long Eaton, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Castle Donington and surrounding areas.
