The Basics:

Role: CNC Miller

Position: Permanent

Location: Long Eaton

Shifts:

Days only: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm)

OR

Days & Nights rotating: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm), rotating every 2 weeks with Mon-Thurs (8.30pm to 7.00am)

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Pay for days: £16.16 to £19.20 per hour

Pay for nights: £21.49 to £25.53 per hour

Earnings of £45,000 and upwards achievable

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Miller to join the 5 axis milling section.

The ideal candidate / CNC Miller may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship
  • Must have previous CNC Milling experience
  • Be able to program/edit online at the machine
  • Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial
  • Competent working with handheld measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges.
  • Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings

Commutable from: Mansfield, Alfreton, Derby, Ilkeston, Clay Cross and surrounding areas.
