Are you a CNC Miller who wants to work Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 and on a Friday 06:00-11:30am & 11:30am-17:00 (37.5hr working week)?

The Basics:

Shift: Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 and Fri 06:00-11:30am & 11:30am-17:00

Contracted hours per week: 37.5

Overtime: paid at 1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays

Salary: £14 - £17.70 per hour + overtime = earnings of £38,000 and upwards achievable

Position: Permanent

Overview:

Working in a fast paced, short/medium production run environment, working to high tolerances for a precision engineering manufacturing business that can offer job security with a strong order book.

We are now looking for CNC Millers to strengthen the production team in order to grow with the demand of the order books.

The ideal CNC Miller with have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

Time served engineering apprenticeship

Be able to program/edit online at the machine

Experience within a precision engineering environment beneficial

Competent working with handheld measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges.

Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings

Commutable from: Nottingham, Derby, Ilkeston, Clay Cross, Hucknall, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
