Position : CNC Maintenance Technician
Location : Sheffield

Salary : £40,000-£50,000

Hours : Monday to Friday days only

About you : -

• Ideally multi-skilled, but also happy to look at people electrically biased. You will be the site subject matter expert for all of the CNC machines ina light, bright purpose built manufacturing facility
• You will be required to have a hands on approach, inspecting, testing and maintenance
• Ability to understand electrical control systems and fault find
• Heavy experience and conversant with CNC Machining centres including interrogation of Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhaim systems for maintenance and fault finding
• Programming experience beneficial but not essential
• Electrical control of medium to heavy machine tools that include furnace control, grinding machines, milling machines , CNC centres and robotic equipment
• Mechanical abilities preferred
• Team player
• Be able to work on own initiative 
• Experience in developing planned maintenance schedules preferred 
• Agile – Responds to the business needs using his skill sets

Qualifications Required
The chosen candidate will be apprentice trained and qualified to a minimum City & Guilds in an appropriate discipline along with further training on control systems and to include good English and maths skills.
