The Basics:

Location: Basildon

Role: CNC Machinist (CNC Miller) 

Position: Permanent

Holidays: 33 days

Benefits: Death in service x2 of salary, pension

Shift patterns available:

Days or nights:

Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 07:30-12:30 = £16.32 per hour/£33096 per annum + OT

Overview:

Working in a fast paced, short/medium production run environment, working to high tolerances.

The ideal candidate / CNC Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served engineering apprenticeship

Previous experience working on CNC milling machinery – ideally 5 axis milling but 3 axis milling also considered as training on 5axis can be given if desired.

Be able to program/edit online at the machine

Experience withing a precision engineering environment

Competent working with hand held measuring devices associated in a machine shop environment - micrometres, verniers and various gauges

Competent at reading and interpreting technical drawings
