Calibration Engineer – Manufacturing – Alfreton

Are you experienced in calibration of hand held measuring equipment associated in a precision engineering environment?

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK. We now require a Calibration Engineer to join the team. Working closely with the calibration manager you will be working within first class manufacturing facilities tasked to help calibrate measuring equipment for large workforce

The basics:

Shift: Mon-Fri days OR 6-2 2-10 OR permanent mornings OR permanent afternoons available – please state preferred shift at interview

Basic Salary: 22,000-30,000

Location: Alfreton

Industry: Precision Engineering

Key responsibilities of the Calibration Engineer

• Working closely with the calibration manager to calibrate all hand held measuring equipment associated in a precision engineering, machining and fabrication environment.

The ideal Calibration Engineer, will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

• Competent at calibrating Veniers, callipers and other associated hand tools within a precision engineering environment
• Organised structured approach to work
