Position : Business Intelligence Systems Manager
Location : Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Salary : 40-60,000 according to experience
Sector : Warehousing and Logistics

About the role :

Responsible for the management and ongoing development of all operational business systems which includes : -

Warehousing and logistics systems including data tracking and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders (revenue stream)
User apps and programmes eg interaction between hand held scanners and tablet used by warehouse personnel with business systems
This role will lead on the innovation and development of legacy systems whilst designing next generation products and systems using the latest tools, processes and disciplines available.

The role is very hands-on ; you will need to be prepared to get out into the warehouse and talk with operatives to find out what works for them and what doesn't and then, where possible, providing solutions to the what doesn't. You must also be prepared to work with clients and customers to develop reporting systems as required. Of course, you will also need to work with the senior leadership team to design, develop and manage suitable internal reporting and operations systems.

Please note : experience in the warehousing / logistics sector is essential

SQL analysis & troubleshooting development SSIS SSRS and information reporting as required
