About the Company :

Formed in 2018, Levercor Energy Systems utilises state of the art efficient generation technology to produce reliable electrical power usually at approximately 50% of the cost of grid electricity'. For an organisation with a large spend on electricity, this can represent a significant saving and offer benefits to cash flow.

In addition, the installations can provide free' heat energy for use in a myriad of industrial processes in addition to space heating and cooling. This can drive cost down even further below the 50% cost reduction aim.

Due to successes over the previous 12 months, we are looking to expand our team by the addition of a Business Development Manager


The Role :

Your job as business development manager is to identify and convert sales leads into new clients. You will also be provided with a list of potential customers to transform in to sales by the company on an ongoing basis but will also be expected to generate your own leads. The focus is very much on new business development

This role revolves around good communication and your duties will include but not be limited to :-

Identify and convert sales leads into new clients
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings via phone calls, video calls and whenever possible face to face meetings
Robustly present the company's offering on business social media such as LinkedIn
Planning and preparing presentations utilising existing company branding
Communicating the benefits of the company's products to prospective clients
Providing management with feedback
Representing the company at trade shows


KPI Measurements

Once you have completed 3 months employment

Convert 2 new clients into confirmed orders per quarter
Contact 25 new prospects per week securing 5 further discussions with key decision makers
Visit 2 prospects per month. This will rise to 4 prospects per month after 9 months of employment (subject to Covid 19 restrictions)


The Person

Extensive successful sales & business development experience is essential. Knowledge of the food manufacturing, metals and plastic manufacturing sectors is a distinct advantage.
Any experience of the energy or utilities sector is beneficial
Experience of capital sales and of extended sales cycle periods
First class interpersonal skills and relationship building abilities
High degree of computer literacy with MS Office and CRM systems
Good numerical skills with the ability to process and present financial data concisely and clearly

The role will be home based initially and the availability to visit an office at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Sheffield once a week would be advantageous but not essential.
