Overview:
My client is seeking a dynamic Sea Freight Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for delivering customer-centric shipping solutions. The successful candidate will be adept at selling and promoting their market-leading services across the UK, utilising their in-depth knowledge of the sea freight market.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new business and grow existing accounts within the sea freight sector.
* Engage with key stakeholders to promote our comprehensive suite of shipping solutions.
* Analyse market trends and customer needs to eLectively position our services.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Requirements:
* Proven sales experience in the sea freight industry.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
