Responsible To: Development and Business Systems Manager

Job Details:
As a Business Analyst you will work in collaboration within the IT development team, to implement process change throughout the organisation. Your role will involve working with colleagues at all levels within the business, identifying and documenting user requirements and producing the relevant specifications.
You will work closely with the Finance business team to establish key finance requirements to monitor data and work with colleagues to implement business requirements within the organisation.
You will be working on a variety of both technical IT and process improvement projects, with experience of managing the end to end project life cycle from gathering user requirements, formal documentation through to implementation.
Responsible for all functional design documents and related testing of developed solutions
Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of the departments and the company as a whole
Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function/product
Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
Work within governance guidelines to gain approval of your recommendations and implementation plan
Communicate the benefits and gain buy in of your recommendations across departments and address any uncertainty and concerns
Produce written documentation to support your work, report your findings and present to stakeholders when necessary
Support the staff and teams in the change management process.
Person Specification
Schedule driven and focused on best quality data delivery with a keen eye for detail
Organised and methodical with good time management skills
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Aptitude to learn and adapt with a creative approach to problem solving
Good Communication and people skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences
