About the opportunity:

My client is currently seeking a Pre-Construction/Bid Manager to manage bids on projects from £10M+, allocate bids, depending on project size, schedule out deliverables for bids, book tender meetings and manage tender diary, complete PQQs and expressions of interest, collaborate with estimators and the technical team to develop winning proposals, ensure that submissions are of the highest quality, drive strategy, compliance, and innovation in bid responses, prepare bids, specifically larger quality submissions

About the requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be currently working in Pre-Construction/bid management/writing/tendering and ideally this will be with a civils structures/civil engineering specialist.
  • Experience in civils / structures / rail for a specialist contractor or main contractor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Team player with a results-driven mindset
  • Ideally have both principal and sub contractor experience and be able to write responses to tender questions having consulted the relevant experts.
