Job Title: Automation Engineer

Salary: 40-50k

Nicholas Associates Engineering & Technical is recruiting for a Automation Engineer on behalf of a well known engineering business at their amazing production site in Shrewsbury.

About you

You will be an experienced Automation Engineer with the following skills and experience;

• Recognised qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or a related subject)
• Strong working knowledge of automation and/or robotic systems
• Experience of participating in new product development projects

About the role

Working in both the office and the field, the Automation Engineer will be;

• Participating in R&D to develop new product solutions
• Investigate product issues in conjunction with suppliers to complete RCA and devise solutions
• Prototype manufacturing and testing – both in-house and in the field
• Owning and producing all related technical literature
