New Vacancy: Assistant Engineering Manager/Maintenance Supervisor

Overview:

Working in a medium to heavy metals processing manufacturing environment, we now require an Assistant Engineering Manager/Maintenance Supervisor to join the business.

With manufacturing sites UK and Europe, you will be tasked to support the Management team within the business working closely with the Maintenance Manager, but also aiding a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers in a fast-paced output driven production environment.

The basics:

Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum + OT available

Hours/Shift: Mon-Fri Days ONLY
Benefits: Private Healthcare/Death in service/Pension/33 days holiday
Location: Must be able to commute to Loughborough based facilities

Essential requirements:

• Time served apprentice trained OR above
• Strong background working within manufacturing and maintenance

Notes for the role:

• If you are electrically biased then you must be prepared to work in a multi skilled role
• If you are mechanically biased ONLY then this is acceptable as the majority of faults are mechanically inclined.

The role in brief:

This will be a mixed hands on/office based role. We are looking for a capable Assistant Engineering Manager/Maintenance Supervisor to act as the crucial link between engineering and management.

You will lead from the front, and work closely with your team and management to help drive and implement change.

The ideal Assistant Engineering Manager/Maintenance Supervisor will have as many of the following

• Time served apprentice trained OR above HND/Degree etc.
• Previously worked at Team Leader or Supervisory level OR have the drive and capacity to step up into a supervisory role
• An influential Leader and have an understanding of the latest maintenance techniques.
• Must be PC literate.
• A desire to work in a medium/heavy engineering environment
• Hydraulic knowledge would be highly beneficial – however all applicants considered
