Nicholas Associates are partnered with a large residential groundworks contractor to find them a Buyer.

Our client works with major house builders and developers and they have a fantastic reputation in the sector. Projects range from 1M to 20M, focusing on residential groundworks, roads and sewer, 278 works and infrastructure projects.

The Role:

procurement of materials and services to ensure operational needs are met
Monitor price, quality and delivery to ensure continuity of supply.
Taking calls from site and noting requirements
Maintaining information flow to the construction team
Liaise with technical department to ensure material specifications adhered to
Updating the material logs with dates / costs / issues
Negotiating Rates
Monitor performance and development of relationships with suppliers


Experience Needed:

Previous experience working as an Assistant Buyer for a groundworks/civil engineering/construction company
Broad knowledge of residential groundworks is preferred
The ability to build and manage relationships with suppliers and site teams
Rapport building ability
Strong negotiating skills
