New role: Assembly Fitter/Trainee Engineer

Are you hands on and competent at reading engineering drawings and following work instructions/methods to assemble?

Do you have an engineering background/education and interest?

Would you be confident at assembling precision engineered components using basic hand tools associated in a precision engineering/machining environment?

Overview:

Working in first class modern purpose built manufacturing facilities, we now have a vacancy for a Assembly Fitter/Trainee Engineer to join the business.

You will be tasked and trained to assemble machined metal components to a high standard in a demanding precision engineering environment.

The basics:

Location: Heanor

Hours: Mon-Thur 7:30am-4:30pm and Fri 7:30am-1:30pm

Salary: up to 24,000 per annum

The role:

You will be part of the Assembly department. Duties will include:

• Assemble precision engineered components using hand tools.
• Reading engineering drawings and method to manufacture instructions to assemble components manufactured on site.

The ideal Assembly Fitter/Trainee Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

• An engineering background, qualification or interest
• Strong hands on skills – ability to use hand tools
• Competent to read engineering drawings (Training given if required)
• Eye for detail and quality
