Advanced Production Operative

The role

Reporting to the First Line Manager, the Advanced Operator is responsible for;

  • The monitoring of factory processes to ensure product and process integrity are met and maintained at all times
  • Ensuring documentation and process control checks are carried out and adhered to specification
  • Development within the workforce
  • Having a clear commitment to product quality on site
  • Ensuring food safety and compliance to brand and customer specifications and food legislation.
  • Delivering industry leading Quality.

The Individual

The successful applicant will;

  • Be reliable, self-motivated and possess an excellent attendance and disciplinary record.
  • Must be able to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Be able to work on own initiative, forward plan, problem solve, and make effective decisions
  • Have an understanding and appreciation of HACCP principles, health and safety, hygiene, food hygiene & legality
  • Have good food manufacturing Excellence
  • Have good ICT skills

As a flexible individual and as part of a team you must be prepared to work varied hours to suit the needs of the business.

The usual days/hours of this role are;

Monday to Friday, 5am - 1pm
