5 axis CNC Miller required – Aerospace.

Due to rapid expansion and increase in business we now require 5 axis CNC Millers to join the business. With large orders and sustained growth we require skilled 5 axis CNC Millers to work within this prestigious aerospace and precision engineering business.

With huge earning potential and a wealth of overtime we can offer a sustained working environment with true job security in one of the Midlands most prestigious aerospace businesses.

The company are looking for driven machinist who want to work within a fast paced, busy environment and who have the desire to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the company. Working with the latest technology and equipment for this prestigious aerospace company.

Hours: 39hr working week

Shifts available: Various shift patterns available all with an early finish on a Friday

Please state preferred shift once shortlisted – example of shifts:

Days and Nights – 2 weeks of days 2 weeks of nights

6-2 2-10 10-6 rotation

Perm Nights

Pay rates;

Day Shift - 11.50 - 13.50

Night Shift - 14.00 - 16.00

Overtime rates: Time and 1/2

Background required: Must have previous 5 axis CNC Milling experience within a precision engineering environment.

The work environment: This is a fast paced machining environment, working to high tolerances. You will be working with first class manufacturing facilities and practices in a well organised structured working environment.

Progression/Training:

The company offer off site training courses to enable machinist to expand their knowledge and look to progress from within.

Machinists have the opportunity to become cell leaders, offline programmers, manufacturing engineers.

The ideal 5 axis CNC Miller will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:

- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines – Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate
- Basic online editing skills
- Manual machining skills highly beneficial
- The desire to progress and use other CNC operated machinery
