Graduate Offshore and Logistic Executive

Offshore & Logistics Executive
Immingham, North East Lincolnshire
18,000 (plus approx. 5,000 overtime)

HOURS: 9:00am - 5:15pm with 1.15hr unpaid lunch, plus weekends and overtime.

THE COMPANY:

Our client are a family-run shipping and logistics business operating in a global market, largely recognised as leading in Offshore Wind logistics. Operating a highly proactive service with experienced staff, the company are now looking for a graduate to join the offshore and logistics department. The successful candidate will be working on the procurement and logistics supply chain associated with the Offshore Wind sector, which is one of the fastest growing industrial sectors in the region.


THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for logistics support in a busy ship's agency office near the Ports of Immingham and Grimsby with a focus on Offshore Wind clients.
Coordination of procurement e.g., arranging plant hire, welfare facilities, mobile cranes, surveys, transport, storage, and spare parts.
Liaise with internal departments providing customs clearance, transport, forwarding, and warehousing.
Liaise with Offshore Support Vessels, owners, and customers.
Arrange crew changes, including transport, accommodation, and immigration documentation.
Liaise with harbour office, berth operators, customs, immigration, and all other relevant Local Port Authorities where required.
Handle and issue important cargo documentation.
Ensure compliance to Health & Safety and Quality Management systems and procedures.


YOU:

Degree educated in a relevant discipline.
Fully IT literate, particularly in Excel.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide the highest standard of service.
Attention to detail and logistical skills to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
The ability to collate information and problem solve.
Enthusiasm and curiosity for the business, or an interest in the maritime sector.
After training, be confident to board vessels and attend to the logistical requirements on the quayside if required.
Full UK driving license.
Willing to work outside normal office hours as required, this will include being on-call every other weekend.
